With the acquisition of PCO Europe -

Epple, as a leading manufacturer of sheet-fed offset inks and varnishes, thus takes over a leading producer and supplier of printing chemicals for the offset printing industry. With this acquisition, Epple wants to be able to offer a very broad portfolio of printing materials for sheet-fed offset printing worldwide.

“Strengthening our product portfolio”

“The acquisition of PCO Europe is a milestone in the development of the Epple group of companies. We are strengthening our product portfolio in the area of printing chemicals enormously”, explains Stefan Schülling, member of the board of directors at Epple Druckfarben AG and responsible for sales and finances. “Epple and PCO Europe have ambitious plans for sales and product development in the future. By consistently using synergies within the companies, we want to maintain our leading market position in sheet-fed offset inks, coatings and printing chemicals in Europe and significantly expand our position in the global market”.

Epple Druckfarben has held a stake in PCO Europe since August 2018 and took over the shares from Roberto Levi Acobas, President of Printgraph Solutions S.r.l., Settimo Milanese, Italy, on 1 July 2020. This makes PCO Europe a wholly owned subsidiary of Epple Druckfarben. Roberto Levi Acobas will remain a shareholder in PCO Eastgate.
