Further strategic growth at PTE Coatings AB in Europe
Christian Schneider, Managing Director of PTE Coatings GmbH, and Frank Gläser, CEO of Grebe Holding GmbH and Managing Director of Weilburger Coatings GmbH, have entered into a cooperation agreement for the "Strategic Purchasing and Contract Manufacturing" segment for a total capacity of additional 6,000 tons of coil coating lacquers per year.
PTE Coatings AB Sweden, part of the Prime Top Aliance, started its coil coating activities in 2013 through a cooperation with their tolling partner SouthCoat AB in Helsingborg with a current capacity of 6.000t.
Expanding market share
The German subsidiary PTE Coating GmbH was founded in September of 2015 with the objective of continuing to pursue ambitious growth objectives and more specifically to service Central European coil coating customers directly from Germany.
Both companies’ common interests are to support each other in attaining their European and Russian growth objectives, while significantly expanding market share. The management teams of Prime Top and Weilburger Coatings GmbH are convinced that they have laid the foundation for a mutually profitable collaboration.
