As of 1 July 2017, Marco Bröning (46) will assume his role as a member of the Executive Board, along with responsibility for both Finance and Controlling. Bröning, born in Northern Germany, has many years of experience in finance, HR and as managing director of two global consumer goods groups: Dole and General Mills.

Newly-established board

Irina Zschaler (47) has been part of the Georg Nordmann Holding AG’s current Executive Board for a year now and will be shifting her focus to sales and marketing in the future. The newly-established Executive Board is committed to reflecting the markets more closely, to working through entrepreneurial challenges with a high level of involvement, and to making active use of all the Group’s synergies.

Right mix of expertise

“We warmly welcome Marco Bröning to the Executive Board,” says Zschaler, in greeting to her fellow board member. “His extensive experience in different sectors and on international playing fields will be of particular value to our future growth targets. We share the conviction that, with the right mix of expertise, passion and appreciation, we can tackle our future tasks successfully together – for all of the companies of Georg Nordmann Holding AG.”

Safeguarding future prospects

Bröning also sees his focus here: “Having been appointed to the Executive Board makes it possible for me to contribute my long-standing and broad-ranging experience of globally-operating companies to the benefit of Georg Nordmann Holding AG, and towards safeguarding the future prospects of all its associated companies. I am looking forward to helping lead this highly successful family business along its strategic and sustainably-focused growth path.”
