GXC Coatings celebrates its 20th anniversary – and invests on a large scale
Surface specialist GXC Coatings has launched the largest investment in ten years.
Investments in Goslar focus on capacity expansions in paint production
-GXC Coatings was founded on 26.06.2000 with the aim of “transparent performance”. From the very beginning, the company’s own paint developments and coating services for transparent components were in the foreground. Every year, approx. 10-15% of total expenditure is invested in research & development. This strategic orientation has made it possible from the very beginning to reliably supply large automotive suppliers and industrial customers.
Largest investment program in 10 years
At the beginning of this year, the largest investment program in 10 years was also started at the Goslar/Oker (Germany) site – unhindered by the current corona crisis. The focus is on capacity expansions in paint production, coating capacities and the establishment of an application centre.
The transformation process of the automotive industry offers good opportunities for GXC Coatings to grow through solutions for driver assistance systems (autonomous driving), new high-quality vehicle interiors and electric mobility. Other market areas are sensor technology and medical technology.
GXC’s own paint developments concern anti-fogging, scratch-resistant with additional functions (easy to clean), anti-reflex and heatable transparent coatings.
