Lehmann & Voss & Co. takes over Osthoff Omega Group
Effective January 1, 2019, Lehmann & Voss & Co. takes over the business operations of the German Osthoff Omega Group, which is active in the field of functional and lightweight fillers.
The Osthoff Omega Group consists of the companies Heinrich Osthoff-Petrasch GmbH & Co. and Omega Minerals Germany in Norderstedt. Founded in 1963, the Osthoff Omega Group has achieved a leading market position in the field of functional and lightweight fillers (hollow and solid spheres, ceramic foams, reinforcing fillers, etc.).
Norderstedt site to be temporarily retained
Lehmann & Voss & Co., founded in 1894, is a Hamburg-based chemical company with a long tradition in the fields of chemical trade and distribution as well as plastics production in Hamburg. The business operations of the Osthoff Omega Group will be integrated into the Surface Technology division of Lehmann & Voss & Co. The Norderstedt location is temporarily retained and the employees are taken over. The owner, Thomas Osthoff-Petrasch, will accompany the integration.
