Luiz Cornacchioni is the new Executive President at Abrafati
Cornacchioni is replacing, following a thoroughly planned succession process, Antonio Carlos de Oliveira, who had held the office since 2017.
Replacing Antonio Carlos de Oliveira
Abrafati’s new Executive President is an agronomy graduate from the University of São Paulo’s (USP) Luiz de Queiroz School of Agriculture (ESALQ) and holds an MBA degree from Kellogg School, in the United States.
Cornacchioni has considerable experience in industry associations, having served as Chief Executive Officer at the Brazilian Agribusiness Association (Abaq) and the Brazilian Association of Planted Forest Producers (Abraf). He was also a co-facilitator for the Coalizão Brasil Clima, Florestas e Agricultura.
He worked for 27 years in the pulp and paper, planted forest and sugar and ethanol industries, having held executive positions at Suzano Papel e Celulose and Terracal Alimentos e Bioenergia.
