Mauler celebrates its 100th anniversary
More than 50 guests from industry, politics and the media celebrated the company anniversary, including a representative of the French government for the “Grand Est” region (Alsace, Lorraine and Champagne-Ardenne). In his speech, Daniel Mauler, third generation owner and CEO of Mauler, thanked his ancestors and all the employees and customers who have made Mauler what it is today. Since the invention of an ecological paste in 1919, Mauler has been regarded as an innovative pioneer of sustainable and environmentally friendly paints, varnishes, oils and glazes from France.
Planning of an own e-commerce platform
Mauler’s digital and product-strategic future was the focus of the lecture by Anthony Gutsche, Head of Marketing and Communication at Mauler. Among other things, Gutsche announced that the company’s orientation towards trends in industry 4.0 such as the so-called phygital and web-to-store strategy would play an even greater role in the future, including the planned development of its own e-commerce platform. According to Mauler, this will also mean a stronger focus on the expansion of products for end consumers. A current example of this is the DIY product line newly developed on the occasion of the company anniversary, which diversifies the brand for the B2C market.
