Münzing acquires the Münzing distribution activities of Interchem

Following its growth strategy, Münzing has acquired the Münzing distribution activities of the company Interchem.

Interchem acts on the Polish market for providing additives and technical solutions for the coatings and construction material industry. Since 1995 Münzing and Interchem have been working together successfully and with great trust. Interchem was Münzing’s first Central and Eastern European trading partner and is still one of its most important suppliers in Europe. Starting from August 2020, these activities of Interchem  will be transferred to the newly established subsidiary Münzing Poland..

Expanding the presence in Central and Eastern Europe

With this acquisition, Münzing wants to expand the presence in Central and Eastern Europe and to enforce a direct sales strategy in Poland. The goal of Münzing is to further improve the customer relationship and service quality.

Münzing, a family-owned business founded in 1830, is a leading global supplier of various additives for coatings, paints, inks, adhesives, paper making and coating, construction chemicals, metalworking fluids (lubricants and coolants), industrial cleaners, wood processing as well as for food processing. These additives, which include defoamers, dispersants, rheology modifiers, emulsifiers, wetting and leveling agents, micronised and coated waxes as well as wax dispersions and emulsions have achieved worldwide recognition for their performance, quality, and technical innovation.
