New Artimelt CEO appointed
In early January 2017, Walter Stampfli has begun his tenure as new CEO of Artimelt AG.
Last year, the companies Collano, Nolax and Emerell transferred their combined hot melt activities into a separate company within LAS Holding. Artimelt's headquarters are located at the production site in Sursee, Switzerland, where hotmelt adhesives have been manufactured for decades.
About Walter Stampfli
Walter Stampfli has 19 years of experience in the global adhesives industry. Most recently, he worked for Henkel in his capacity as General Manager Industrial Adhesives, where he was responsible for the adhesives used in engineered wood applications. Previously, Walter Stampfli was already employed by the Collano Group as a Region Head from 1998 to 2003. In 2003, when Collano und National Starch and Chemical established the Purbond joint venture, Walter Stampfli was appointed General Manager of the specialist in polyurethane adhesives for the engineered wood industry.
