New content: Suppliers Hub grows
The European Coatings Suppliers Hub, which was launched a few weeks ago, is growing steadily. There are now 27 videos and presentations online that report on a wide range of innovations for the coatings industry. One of the latest videos presents multifunctional etheramine additives for aqueous systems.
In the new article the speaker Dr Jordan Quinn explains why amine additives are important for waterborne coatings and which properties they influence. In the course of the presentation, he then introduces a new etheramine that allows the curing of water-based coating systems at low temperatures and still enables high performance of the coatings film.
The amine is said to have a broad functionality and to positively influence properties such as hardness, gloss and resistance to yellowing.
