Even if the show is known for surpassing its own records of the previous event, it never gets old to be enthusiastic when it comes to the current figures: as of yet, this year almost 1,100 exhibitors (more than +7% compared to 2015) will showcase their novelties at the ECS on 39,500 square metres  (+8%). This development underlines the ECS’ status as the world’s most important coatings exhibition and conference. Do not miss the must-attend event and meet your peers. Starting on page 10, we have prepared a bundle for you containing all the information you need for your ECS visit. Cool pigments are the topic of Daniel Lladó et al., Ferro Pigments. In his article he explains how crucial it is to choose the right pigment for achieving cool properties of a coatings system (page 74). Ultramarine blue pigments can be used as an alternative cost-effective blue pigment, taking into account that their use is recommended on reflecting substrates. The author will share more in-depth information on that topic and answer your questions during the webcast on 28 March 2017 at 15.00 CET.
