New titanium dioxide pigment expands application for printing inks
According to the producer, “Kronos 2066” represents an improvement in pigment performance, while maintaining ease of handling and incorporation, and addresses the regulatory compliance challenges.
Improved opacity, gloss, wetting
The new grade exhibits better opacity, gloss, wetting and dispersibility compared to other TiO2 pigments in this category, Kronos promises. The pigment has the additional benefit of complying with requirements of US (FDA 21 CFR 178.3297) and Chinese (GB 9685-2008) that address the content of organic compounds in food packaging and films.
