New video about additives for UV-curing wood coatings
In the monthly webcast European Coatings Live, Selma Öru from Byk Chemie explains how novel wetting and dispersing agents can improve properties such as the gloss or color strength of radiation-curing coatings. The recording is now available in European Coatings 360°.
In the lecture Selma Örü presents on how the new additives can be used to stabilise both inorganic and organic pigments and carbon blacks resulting in high-quality results.
The lecture shows that the improved development in colour strength throughout the dispersion process and the colouristic properties also comply with the highest technical requirements. Moreover, she explained that the solvent-free delivery form of the additive does not add any volatile components to the formulation of radiation-curable coating systems.
