Newly positioned: Eurocolour – European pigment, filler and colorant industry association
The European umbrella organisation of the pigment, filler and colorant industry, Eurocolour, has restructured itself. Stefan Sütterlin, BASF Colors & Effects GmbH, was elected President.
27 companies and six national and worldwide associations founded the new association Eurocolour e. V. during the founding meeting on 30 January 2019 in Frankfurt. Stefan Sütterlin, BASF Colors & Effects GmbH, was elected President and Dr. Heinz Zoch, Evonik Resource Efficiency GmbH, Deputy President.
“Representation of interests at the European level”
“With this step, we are strengthening the representation of interests at the European level, which is of central importance in view of the regulations in Europe and the international activities of the industry,” said the newly elected president Stefan Sütterlin.
The secretariat of the European association lies with the German Verband der Mineralfarbenindustrie e. V..
Membership in Eurocolour e. V. is open to companies manufacturing in Europe as well as to national and global associations.
