PPG announced a 13,5 million euro investment in a new 38,750-square-foot (3,600-square-meter) application support centre (ASC) at the Seletar Aerospace Park near the Seletar Airport in Singapore. The project is the company’s largest investment to date in Southeast Asia.
Scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2020, the ASC will accommodate increased demand for aerospace sealants and coatings, chemical management services and the packaging of third-party products.

Investment in Southeast Asian aerospace industry

“This investment acknowledges the aerospace industry’s strong growth in Southeast Asia,” said Ranju Arya, PPG general manager, aerospace products, Asia Pacific. “Having this state-of-the-art facility in Seletar will help increase collaboration and allow PPG to deliver efficient, value-added services to our customers locally.”
