Safic-Alcan opens South African subsidiary

Safic-Alcan has formed a new subsidiary, Safic-Alcan Southern Africa, for servicing the South African market and its neighbouring countries, effective immediately.

Ronald Marshall will be responsible for the Sales & Development

In order to support the new office, Safic-Alcan hired its first employee, Mr Ronald Marshall, who will be responsible for the Sales & Development.

Mr Marshall, a polymer engineer, will hold the position of General Manager and will initially be in charge of the performance products market in Southern Africa (CASE, PU, Rubber and Plastic).

Prior to his current position, he enjoyed a long experience in technical, sales and business development with renowned companies such as Kluber Lubrication and Dunlop Africa.

“We are delighted with the opening of this new subsidiary in Johannesburg. We will bring innovative solutions to local customers, and serve our existing and future principals in the best possible way,” stated Philippe Combette, CEO of Safic-Alcan.
