Songwon expands in-house production in South Korea

A new production line at Songwon’s site in Suwon, South Korea for the manufacture and distillation of its UV stabiliser has become operational. With a total capacity of about 1000 metric tons, it allows fully backward integrated in-house manufacture at all stages from intermediate to finished product.

Increased focus on coatings, inks and adhesives industry

Besides, other coatings additives as well as blends of UV absorbers and hindered amine light stabilisers are produced at the site. As part of its expansion strategy, Songwon is using its experience to further develop the technologies it offers and strengthen its focus on specialty chemicals for coatings, inks and adhesives, amongst other applications.
