Sudarshan opens application development lab in Europe
Growth at the Evonik site in Krefeld: the Indian pigment manufacturer starts to operate the first application development lab outside of India.
Sudarshan headquartered in Pune (India) employs around 2.000 employees globally. The company opens its first application development lab outside of India. In a first step the application development lab will be setup to operate and conduct application development work in close collaboration with customers. “We are the maket leader for pigments in India for the paint-, coatings-, inks- and plastics industry and globally number four and we grow on a double digit level. Target is to become the third largest in this industry and therefore we are investing in new markets”, said Milan Krumbe, General Manager Sudarshan Europe.

Sudarshan conducted a competitive analysis and found the adequate place in Krefeld. “The complete package was a perfect fit”, said Dr. Christian Maus, Head of Technical Marketing and Product Development Digital. “The services, the high degree of support, the infrastructure, the link to the University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein as well as potential new offices and labspaces convinced us. Our fast growth requires pragmatic and fast acting partners, which we found here”, he added.
