Teknos to strengthen its position in the Czech Republic by acquiring Finnproduct
Teknos has made an agreement and closed the deal to acquire Czech paint distributor Finnproduct s.r.o. to strengthen its position in the market.
Finnproduct has been Teknos dealer already since 1992. “Our aim is to provide our customers the best solutions to their needs. We want to further develop our offering to Czech customers in utilising the best competence and knowhow we have in Teknos group. We see the acquisition as an excellent next development step is the Czech market”, says Marcel Dissel, Chief Commercial Officer.
Teknos has operations in more than 20 countries
Teknos is regarded as one of the leading suppliers of industrial coatings with a strong position in retail and architectural coatings. Teknos has operations in more than 20 countries in Europe, Asia and the USA. The company was established in 1948 and is one of Finland’s largest family-owned businesses.
“We have had success in introducing Teknos products to the Czech market and been able to establish long term customer relationships. After 25 years, it is time to leave for my retirement. Now that Teknos takes over the business, we are convinced that the business will continue to develop positively, says the previous owner of Finnproduct s.r.o. Mrs. Ivanka Cieslová.
