The Latin American Coatings Show conference programme
From 19 to 21 June, the 14th Latin American Coatings Show will take place in Mexico City. The exhibition is accompanied by a technical conference where international expert speakers will give insights into the latest innovations and technical developments.
One of the biggest headaches of the paints and coatings industry is currently TiO2 and the possible regulation. André van Linden, Director Coatings Technology at Akzo Nobel, will present on “Architectural Coatings: Is TiO2 replaceable? A theoretical study into the hiding power of white TiO2-free coatings”. In his talk, he will present the company’s finding regarding replacing TiO2 with potentially opacifying substances. Other topics include recent developments in industrial coatings, the formulation of high-performance water-borne coatings and much more.
The complete programme is available on the website of ANAFATYP, the National Association of Manufacturers of Paints and Inks in Mexico. More information on the show and conference are available at the website of the Latin American Coatings Show.
