USMB acquires Printing Ink Resin business of Resinall Europe
Umicore Specialty Materials Brugge NV (USMB) has entered into an agreement with Resinall Europe BVBA to acquire its Printing Ink Resin business.
The transfer of the business concerns the entire customer and product portfolio including a license agreement on the Resinall product technology and related REACH registrations.
“Hydrocarbon C9” resins
The “Hydrocarbon C9” resins complement USMB's portfolio of alkyds, fatty acid esters and driers for the European ink market, making it unique in its extensiveness. The transaction will close by June 30, 2017. Thomas Schollaert, USMB Application Manager Resins & Carboxylates, will be the main customer contact for the European customers.
