Vink Chemicals acquires technical biocide brands from Schülke & Mayr

Biocide producer Vink Chemicals from Kakenstorf, Lower Saxony, Germany, is expanding its range of technical biocides and entering the oil and gas business.

Vink Chemicals GmbH & Co. KG acquires Schülke’s product portfolio of technical biocides and oil and gas additives with immediate effect. This is the next milestone in the growth of the German biocide manufacturer. In addition to the products and brands, the team at Vink includes technical biocide and oil/gas specialists from Schülke (product development, regulation, sales). The new colleagues will also play an important role in the future development of the company. 

Expansion of product portfolio

At the production sites in Kakenstorf and Memmingen, Germany, Vink will continue production under the same high quality standards and identical specifications. The expanded product range will enable Vink Chemicals to pursue new forward-looking and market-oriented strategies in its most important business area and further strengthen its focus on the developing market in the oil and gas industry.
