Sika has agreed to acquire Hamatite, the adhesives business of Yokohama Rubber. Hamatite is a market leader in Japan, offering adhesives and sealants to the automotive and construction industries.
Huntsman sells its India based Do-It-Yourself (DIY) consumer adhesives business, part of the Advanced Materials division, to Pidilite Industries.
